The LEGO Organization History

The LEGO company began in 1932 by Danish resident Ole Kirk Christiansen, with the reason for promoting inventive play and ingenuity in children. In the early years, the company’s items were made right from wooden blocks, but by the 1960s, production had expanded and this company produced gadgets made of clear plastic. Although the items and designs modified over the years, they remained compatible and could become combined to create new models.

In the 1970s, LEGO began to expand the business international. In Belgium, the company established a revenue company and began providing toys in France and Swiss. In the 1980s, the company expanded into the U. S. and established a manufacturing facility in Connecticut. The organization also created a new splitting, Dacta, to pay attention to educational goods. After World War II, Christiansen purchased the first plastic material injection molding machine in Denmark and began experimenting with the process.
